Hi,

0x00000050, 0xffffffe8, 0x00000001, 0x80522b8e, 0x00000000

Has anyone got any ideas as to what might have caused the above STOP error, This is the 2nd time that it has happened. But, the error codes are different. I have looked on Micro$oft Support, There it says it could be a virus or Malware, I downloaded the Windows Defender from them, that says I'm all clear. I ran my own progs. they say I'm ok too. I have got to thinking if I might be under-supplied with power, anyone any ideas?

Thanks in advance

ohwell Cheers Mate

Press start > Run.
Type in:
chkdsk
Press enter.

Allow it to check your HD for errors.

If you still get errors, do Start > Run.
Type in:
sfc /scannow <-- note the space after c and before /
If it asks for your XP/vista disc, put it in and retry.

If you still get errors, it could be a hardware issue.
Any new hardware you've installed recently?

Most likely refers to a page loading fault in a non paged area.....ie usually occurs when data requested is not found in memory as the system looks for data in the paging file.

Common occurances for this sort of error include faulty hardware (especially RAM), a buggy system service, antivirus software, or a corrupted NTFS volume.

You will have to proceed with troubleshooting this in a methodical fashion, ruling out any of these causes one-by-one until you discover the issue!

As the previous poster suggests, any new RAM module editions etc......I would need more info in this and other areas suggested.

Regards
