Rename ComboFix.exe to commy.exe before you save it to your Desktop

• Disable your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware applications, usually via a right click on the System Tray icon. They may otherwise interfere with our tools A guide to do this can be found here
  
• Click Start then copy paste the following command into the search box & hit enter: "%userprofile%\desktop\commy.exe" /stepdel
  
• As part of it's process, ComboFix will check to see if the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed. This will not install in Vista. Just continue scanning, and skip the console install.
  
• When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Please include the contents of C:\ComboFix.txt in your next reply.
  

I ran commy and even though I double and tripple checked that my antivirus was turned off, commy still recognized it as being on... after trying for like 20 mins I ran it anyway and it never finished scanning after 2 hours. It said 10 mins is normal but it could take 20. I assumed after 2 hours it had froze. I reset the computer and there was no log in the file. what should I do?

Try running it again, if it freezes again, we'll use something else.

It did the same thing... I let it go for a few hours and came back and it was froze up again.

Okay re-run OTL and post the new log, see if anything got missed.
