Can't turn McAfee on

1) I see that files in My Documents are still marked Hidden. Do you think I should simply uncheck that attribute for each file?

Go for it.

2) Also when starting I get a message that "Catalyst Control Center: Host appllicastion has stopped working." Should I download the drivers and reload or wait to get instructions from you?

You can try a driver re-install, see if it works.


3) I'm using IE to log into this site. I have it set to remember me when I log in. Unfortunately, it's not remembering me. I have to enter my User ID and password each time.

It's IE, none of the techs here would recommend it, we would rather point users to Firefox/Chrome.

1) I reset the attributes to uncheck Hidden on all the Documents, Music, Pictures, etc.

2) Downloading a fresh Catalyst Control Center didn't work. For now, I just turned it off in msconfig>startup.

3) I updated Firefox. I'll have to start using it.
