can't remove hdd diagnostic

Tried using the malware anti-malware..updated and ran in safe mode. When I reboot my desktop icons are still missing and malware did not find any infected files but obviously they still must be there. Please help. Here are the files from OTL that were requested if the other did not work. Also did the Java updates as suggested also. ok the files are too large so tried to attach the files but it does not seem to work

Hello.

Download OTL by OldTimer to your Desktop.

• Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  
• Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  
• It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  
• You may need to use two posts to get it all.
