Go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and remove the following programs.

Adobe Reader 8.1.2

Please download Firefox 3.6.13 and install it. It will install over version 3.0 you currently have installed, so you won't lose any bookmarked websites.

How is the machine running now?

Hello. I didn't notice any change after removing adobe reader. I installed a new one cause I needed it. Also @ starting up my machine, I could't run any programs before I got the message "your computer has a safety risk, there is no virusscanner installed" etc (only in dutch) in the lower right corner of my desktop. It takes about a minute after booting before this message appears, and only after it, will IE and msn and other programs start up. I thought it would go away after installing the new AVG but it didn't. Does this have something to do with the past problems?

Please download Revo Uninstall from here: Revo Uinstaller

1. Download and run the setup file for Revo Uninstaller.
   
2. Once setup, run Revo Uninstaller.
   
3. Select the following item for removal by clicking on it once.
   
   AVG 2009
   
   
4. Then hit the "Uninstall" button at the top.
   
5. Close Revo Uninstaller.
   

Please remove any other instances of AVG too.

Now install a new AV and see if it kills that error.

Hi There is only AVG2011 installed on my pc. No 2009 according to REVO. But the problem already occured before I installed avg2011. Should I still remove it?

Yes. Then try and run Combofix.
