2 questions though - i still have otl on my desktop and, searching for the eset log, i came across 4 or 5 other eset files. do those stay?

update - steps completed and there is possibly a slight improvement. it's been a rough day since quickbooks refused to open due to a fatal error [this started after the cleanup]. outlook express also failed to download my mail twice, third time it went through so maybe this is not related.

You can remove the OTL files and ESET logs.

The general slowness is caused by your lack of decent hardware, as you have very little RAM in this machine.

i hate to say this but how do i remove those files? i thought there was an uninstall or cleanup function in otl
