Hey GeekPolice buddies, the other day I was adding a second optical drive in my system and I erroneously pulled too hard the front plastic cover also called the front bezel assembly causing the plastic tabs on the outside edge to break. Now the faceplate or bezel its loose and it wont stay in place for the same reason that the tabs that held it still broke. I looked up this particular part on the internet in various websites and the price is at the $40 range, this is absoƖute absurd to pay that much for a piece of plastic, my question now is, can I just glue the tabs back onto the plate with a strong glue like gorilla glue or JB well, or I am far better off getting a new plate from the manufacuter?

Thankz!

In my opinion, the glue would work until you went to take the cover off again.
