Adding HP printer

I am trying to add a HP printer to my computer. It has worked previously on the same computer. For some reason it stopped. This same printer works fine on all my other laptops when I hook up to the the USB port.
The printer is a HP OfficeJet G series all in one.

I have went to the official site and downloaded drivers. I even show it as the selected printer in my files. If I do a download it states the software was previously loaded. I have the disc for it.

Maybe I have the wrong port selected or something. But I try to run a setup and nothing happens.

If I print it shows it going to printer and stops.

first uninstall printer driver fully.
then restrat the pc, if printer are detect and ask for drivers then install latest drivers.
if is it not ask for any drivers then it may be problem in your usb port.
is it any other usb device are working well or not?

The USB ports work. I can plug a stick in and read it.

For some reason it won't allow to unistall the drivers?
