Hello!
I recently built a Windows 7 System 64 Bit - Intel i7 920, 12 GB RAM, 600 Watt Power Supply, ASUS Mother board.

I had ran it over night with not problems. Loaded a ton of files. (1 TB Hard Drive). I made the mistake of loading an older program (Money 2005) which had driver issues. But now accessing the program still seemed to be ok. (I probably should've deleted it while I had the chance)! Anyway, it seemed to be working fine. I left the PC on and went about my daily chores. When I returned about 3 hours later, the PC would start, (no beeps - no speaker) then about 5/10 seconds later would shut off and without me hitting the power button, would come back on. So my only resolution was to shut off the power completely.

Should I reformat?
