Wireless is selectivly fast

Hey,

My internet connection is very slow, but it seems it is only slow on certain things. I tried to run a speed test and got the following results:



But whenever I try to download something (Ex: from a torrent) the speed is as slow as 30kb/s or sometimes even slower.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

Do you have slow speed with opening internet pages or just with Torrent download software ?

I dont notice a slow speed when opening web page, but when I am downloading any file I always notice a slow speed. Takes me from 2-3min to download a 3min MP3. I also notice a slow speed when downloading with applications such as Steam.

You could try using a download manager to speed up the downloading speed.

Downloading speed also depends very much on the site your are download from. You could try downloading something from the Microsoft site and see if the speed is the same.

I don't know if it is really a torrent you are downloading, but when a torrent download is on, the speed of net is slowed by 10x

Try using Internet Download Manager.
