wireless is saying it is connected, but internet will not work !!

For some reason when i try and go on the wireless on my laptop, it is saying that is connected and that it has excellent strength. Yet when i open internet explorer it just wont work and says it can not display the webpage?

I have no clue what to do next, any help would be appreciated !!

Open CMD, Reset WINSOCK entries to installation defaults by typing: netsh winsock reset catalog

Reset TCP/IP stack to installation defaults by typing: netsh int ip reset reset.log

Restart your PC.

If it doesn't work, download Winsock XP Fix from here, save it to your Desktop.

Double click on the exe on your Desktop.
Press the "Fix" button, then restart again.

See if you can connect now.
