Hello.
Yep, were getting a lot of the same stuff you have here, and from your MBAM log, we need to go deeper.

Download the GMER rootkit scan from here: GMER

1. Unzip it and start GMER.
   
2. Click the >>> tab and then click the Scan button.
   
3. Once done, click the Copy button.
   
4. This will copy the results to your clipboard.
   
5. Paste the results in your next reply.
   

Note:
If you're having problems with running GMER.exe, try it in safe mode. This tools works in safe mode.
You can also try renaming it since some malware blocks GMER.

I'm having problems again with safe mode in that everything is so big and I can't get to the copy button to save and send it. I can get it all scanned and had to scan in safe mode as when I tried it in regular operating mode, it started and then I got the message that windows had a problem and had to shut down. What next???

Think my computer may be dead now. Turned it off and tried to start again and in safe mode and regular mode now get message that windows couldn't start as following file is missing or corrupt : \windows\system32\config\system. It says I can try to repair using original setup cd rom. Don't know if it will make any difference if I try that or should just give up and say it is time for a new computer. Will check messages later to see what you have to say. If I do get new computer, how can I prevent this from happening again?

Do you have your XP disc? not sure what's happened here.

Tried to run my dell operating system disc that has xp on it and it won't do anything. Computer said to push "r" , but nothing happens.
