Security Tool / IEmonster nightmare

Hi,
I have read all of the topics on this virus.

I have tires every thing, but the avice is useles ace i can not install.

I tried to install Hijack, it wont allow me to install ANYTHING.

I also can not enter Safe Mode, run Command Prompts or even start in safe mode!

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

• Double-click SystemLook.exe to run it.
  
• Copy the content of the following codebox into the main textfield:

I tried that, but it only allows SystemLook to run for one second before dissapears. I appreciate any more help & I will donate if I can get control of my system back.

• Double-click on exeHelper.com to run the fix.
  
• A black window should pop up, press any key to close once the fix is completed.
  
• Post the contents of log.txt (Will be created in the directory where you ran exeHelper.com)
  

Note: If the window shows a message that says "Error deleting file", please re-run the program before posting a log - and post the two logs together (they will both be in the one file).

I tried to run it several times. The virus will just not let anything run:-(

Please download SilentRunners from here:
http://www.silentrunners.org/Silent%20Runners.zip
Unzip it to the desktop and double-click on it. If you get any kind of warning message about scripts, please choose to allow the script to run. When the scan is finished, a message will pop up and a logfile will have been created on the desktop. Please post the entire contents of this logfile for me to see.

Thanks for the help btw. It wont run ANY .exe. Im not a super tch guy , but can a friend lent me a Paragon disk & I can get a DOS promt if I boor from that CD. Is there anything i can do from there?

DOS mode is a lot like just the normal cmd window. Are you good with cmd commands?

Not really - lol. But I can typ whatever toy tell me to:-)

Okay, in DOS mode, does it show a line like this?

C:\Documents and settings\USERNAME>

and lets you type?

My Bad, I can only get to the windows recover dos. I'm at "E:\WINDOWS" now

I booted from an XP disc, I guess this wont work

Will it let you type at that bit? Can you do this?

Where it says "E:\Windows", type in:

cd E:\

Hit enter.
That should take you to the E:\ drive, and will show E:\>

Now type in:

cd Program Files

Hit enter.
Now it should show "E:\Program Files>", so type in dir and hit enter.

That should show all the folders in the Program Files folder, can you report back with all the folders listed there?

It keeps throwing a ">" at the end of everything im at C:> now

Yeah, the > is normal.
Follow on from here:

Your gonna need to boot normally, I want to try exeHelper again.

Once downloaded, DO NOT run straight away. Right click exeHelper.scr and remove "exeHelper" and add "explorer", so it should be called "explorer.scr". Now try running it, see if it lets you.
