Monitor question

I have a fairly new computer and it came w/ a flat screen monitor. When I see pics they are stretched over the screen and it looks funny. How can I stop this from happening?

You have to set it to the native resolution. Right click your desktop and change the resolution by sliding it all the way to the right.

I had messed w/ that but I guess I didn't apply it lol. It looks much better, except for the task bar and icons.
