Does anyone know how this could be done?

I would also like to know if there is a syntax in javascript that will allow it to know once it has reached the end of a line in a document.

Specifically the rss feed i would like to access (to filter and index on the spot) would be http://jotform.com/rss/92360221654

I doubt so, but you can still find your way to the end using other methods such as RegExp.

Unfortunately i already know these methods, they only give you a way to display your rss feed. However i am developing javascript to search and display the scripts that are relevant in real time, not rss organizers. Whats relevant would be decided by the user. All i need is just a simple way of knowing how to access an rss file, would i have to access the source or would javascript simply read the html document.

I'm not really sure what you mean by accessing the RSS and I'm not really sure if that's possible or not. But I think you'll need to use iframe then use Javascript to filter or something. I'm not so sure.
