Error with uninstalling gaming program "Magic: The Gathering"

Hello! I recently had a virus that has now been fixed thanks to your great team and I am so appreciative. My computer has been sending me messages recently saying that I am running low on free disk space, so I went to "Add or Remove Programs" to try to uninstall some things that we don't use very much. There is a program called "Magic: The Gathering - Battlegrounds" which was downloaded from a CD by my brother. It is over 1,000 MB big, and I tried to uninstall it using Add/Remove Programs, but received these messages:

Setup has experienced an error. Please do the following:
-Close any running programs
-Empty your temporary folder
-Check your Internet connection (Internet-based setups)
Then try to run the Setup again.
Error code: -5001

I did all of the suggestions above, tried inserting the installation disk again to reinstall the software, but nothing worked. I still get this error message. Do you have any idea how you could help me delete this program? Thank you in advance!

Can you try deleting the folder in bold and see if it works:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Professional directory

If it doesn't, try to insert the CD of this software, check for an uninstall option somewhere inside.

I tried deleting that folder, and now I get a new error message when I go to "Add/Remove Programs" to delete the game:

Error loading C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\INSTAL~1\PROFES~1\RunTime
0701\Intel32\Ctor.dll

The specified module could not be found.

I tried putting in the game and looking around for an option to uninstall, and I was unsuccesful there as well. I have contacted Atari, the makers, and I read the instruction manual that came with the game, but so far I've had no luck. Any other ideas? Thank you for your help so far!

P.S. Deleting that folder didn't affect any other things we have installed, did it?

Deleting the folder is meant to reset the uninstaller so that it might work. I guess the uninstaller and everything else is corrupted. The only way I could think of removing it is to delete the game from the program files folder.
