Hi, I have Malware on my Laptop I believe. It's mainly Malware doctor but my computer is also running much slower than usual. I have tried to get rid of the problems using MalwareBytes Anti-Malware but it doesn't seem to be working. I have also ran Spybot search and Destroy, but nothing seems to be happening. Heres the Log:

I found that when I ran the hijackthis scan that the 2 malware doctor lines had vanished:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Malware Doctor] C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Application Data\916653139.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Malware Doctor] C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Application Data\916653139.exe

I don't know whether it has the capability to lay dormant somewhere or if it has gone. Also when I clicked fix checked there was an error sign saying "Regedit Disabled" and something about the administrator. I cannot remember exactly what it said but something along those lines.

I have also recently found that the sound isn't working on my firefox browser. I believe this is down to the regedit the message says:
Registry Editor
Registry editing has been disabled by your administrator.

Any ideas?

1. If you are using Firefox, make sure that your download settings are as follows:

* Tools->Options->Main tab
* Set to "Always ask me where to Save the files".

2. During the download, rename Combofix to Combo-Fix as follows:

Malware and Malware Doctor Problems CF_download_FF

Malware and Malware Doctor Problems CF_download_rename

3. It is important you rename Combofix during the download, but not after.
4. Please do not rename Combofix to other names, but only to the one indicated.
5. Close any open browsers.
6. We need to disable your local AV (Anti-virus) before running Combofix.
See HERE for how to disable your AV..

  • Double click on ComboFix.exe.
  • Follow the prompts. NOTE:
  • ComboFix will check to see if the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed.
***It's strongly recommended to have the Recovery Console installed before doing any malware removal.***
  • Allow combofix to run
  • Post C:\combofix.txt back here.

    Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall.
