cant defrag

Hey we backed up our pc and ever since when we try to defrag the computer a message pops up saying that the MMC cannot open the file C:\windows\system32\dfg.msc. Can you please help me retrieve this file?

I tried downloading the suggested and I got cannot download windowsP_KB907265_x86ENU.exe Iv also got a Warning on my buffer overload and a warning of dangerous spyware following viruses were founded onmy computer trojan horse passcarture and etc. is what it says

You get a warning from where? What software gives you that warning?

It says Internet explorer cannot download...indows Xp_KB907265_x86 ENU.exe from download.microsoft.com After that it says Internet explorer was not able to open this internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot e found

Ok it downloaded but now it is saying that the disk defragmenter was unable to start

Im still having the problem starting the disk defrager can you help?

Start >> Run >> type %Windir%\Inf, and then click OK.

Right-click the dfrg.inf file, and then click Install.

Alternately, you can reinstall Disk Defragmenter using the following command:

rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 %windir%\inf\dfrg.inf
