Firefox keeps crashing

I just recently received help with a Win32/Agent.ODG and my computer is running GREAT -- except for a new feature: my Firefox Browser keeps crashing about every 3hrs.

Any ideas?

That's good. Reinstall it to see if it still happens, there might be a certain file Firefox is missing which might be accidentally deleted during the malware removal that requires it to run properly.

Okay. It's 9:00am with a new version of Firefox reinstalled. I just removed Firefox from my computer, used the link you provided to download Firefox again, installed it, and here we are...waiting to see what happens about 3hrs from now.

I'll be back around Noon to post another reply, letting you know if she crashes again.

Hello,

There might be a certain incompatible add-on you are using which causes this. Go to Tools >> Add-ons and disable every add-on one by one.

The extension you most recently enabled is either bad, or conflicting with another extension you enabled earlier. To find out if it's a conflict, enable ONLY that extension, and see if you can reproduce the crashes. If you cannot, then enabling other extensions until you crash will help you find the conflicting extension.

With your knowledge of Firefox and its add-on's, are any of these known for being incompatible with another? Or is it absolutely necessary to disable all of them and enable them one at a time?

Additionally, I just learned that Fasterfox 2.0.0 in incompatible with the latest version of Firefox. It had been disabled but I have since uninstalled it.

Out of the list you provided, I have only used Adbock Plus before, so I can't really tell which causes Firefox to crash.
