WIN32/Nuqel.E - spyware protection popup

Using another computer to acces the internet -

Was told to download Microsoft malicious software tool. Put it on stick drive but the infected computer wont read it. Also cant get on internet - keeps breaking the connection. Where do I start?

Also now that I plugged the stick drive into that bad computer is that infected????

Please download the current version of HijackThis from HERE

• Double click and run the installer.
  
• It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
  
• After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.
  
• Select Do a system scan and save a log file. This will open a notepad file of everything Hijack This found, copy and paste it back here.

How is the machine running now?

Machine is running great right now. On the reboot it said Windows firewall was blocking Mcafree backup and wanted to know if it should continue to block????

Also before you got involved I tried to restore to an earlier date and it said it couldnt. Do I have to create a new restore point?
