Strange lag and computer restarts on it's own..

Hi,

I have my computer one year now and from when I bought it it lags.. When I put on a cd, it lags, when I play a game and I exit and then try to open it again it comes up with a blue page writting an understandable language and my computer starts all over again as I did restart...

Lately I scanned for viruses and I found 44 whom I deleted. I thought that this might be the problem but it isn't, because the problem continues and I got it since I bought my pc..

Any help would be terrific! Thanks in advance!

Example:
W32/Virut
Trojan.Small

Something like that.

They are usually infected music files.

Please download the current version of HijackThis from HERE

• Double click and run the installer.
  
• It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
  
• After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.
  
• When Hijack This opens, click "Open the Misc Tools section"
  
• Then select "Open Uninstall Manager"
  
• Click on "Save List..." (generates uninstall_list.txt)
  
• Click Save, copy and paste the results in your next post.

I don't have hijackthis, can you send me a link to download?

Also as I said, my computer restarts on it's own when I press for the 2nd time any game to play..

Also lags when I put on a cd..

The game crashing could the graphics card.

I don't think that it's the graphic card, else it wouldn't play the game even once, also and when I put on a dvd it restarts and if this keeps going my pc is going to get burned . Also the lag which the computer has when I put on a cd? It lags and i have to restart it without using my mouse...

P2P(Peer to peer) applications are designed to help you easily share and distribute files between you and a group of people. But they can also be used to distribute malware, and thus are not considered safe.
The removal of these programs is optional, but highly recommended.

Go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and remove the following programs.

• Adobe Reader 8
  
• eMule
  
• Java(TM) 6 Update 7
  
• LimeWire 4.18.3
  

Please download the OTMoveIt3 by OldTimer.

• Save it to your desktop.
  
• Please double-click OTMoveIt3.exe to run it.
  
• Copy the bolded text below to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose Copy):

Hello, the screen that you get is called a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD). It will usually display an error code at the bottom of the screen, I need that error code to troubleshoot your problem better.

It's a friend's problem, so as soon as I get on his pc I will answer. Hopefully today!By the way when you are most active Inferno? So I can log and get that problem fixed as soon as possible?

I have seen the BSOD again and it doesn't display anything at the bottom. The only thing it shows is some inundersandable words on a blue screen and then it restarts...

It looks like this only as image ( it has the blue thing )... The things that is says is "sdfkhsdjghsdf", it doesn't say anything in english like yours and I can't take photo with "print screen" to show you :/

A friend has a problem with bsod on his pc and because he doesn't know about forums and such, I volunteered to help him so I answer you from him via this account. I have come across certain malware, specifically smitfraud which I have tested before. They produce blue screens on purpose which displays gibberish or spelling/grammar mistakes.

I have a feeling he is infected too.

On his computer follow these instructions:

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

• Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  
• Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  
• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  
• Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  
• When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. (See Note)
  
• The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  

Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts.
Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process.
If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

Post the contents of the MBAM Log.

Also, when does this blue screen happen? Does it happen randomly?

I will do it as soon as I can. Hopefully today.. About the blue screen, it comes when he enters a game, he exits and then he tries to re-enter and bamp the blue screen...Usually it happens when he tries to do things for 2nd time...I will have what you said to do on 5-6 hours from now.

Help me find out what graphic card model your friend is using.

Download CCleaner run it for applications and registry. This will make your computer run faster no matter what the problem is, and there is a slim chance it may fix the problem. Scan until there is NOTHING found. It doesn't find and delete everything the first time around.

Dont ever fix the registry using a registry cleaner, chances that it may corrupt your registry causing much more damage.
