I am getting this error message lately when I boot up my system. SVChost.exe - application error. What is this, and how can I get rid of it, it;s becoming annoying! :hmm: I am running windows XP.

Download these updates by Microsoft:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=7A81B0CD-A0B9-497E-8A89-404327772E5A&displaylang=en

http://download.windowsupdate.com/v6/windowsupdate/redist/standalone/WindowsUpdateAgent20-x86.exe

Install them, restart your PC and see if this error still occurs.

I m getting a new error message now. hpqtbx01.exe-application error. memory could not be read! Let me think

hpqtbx01.exe is part of a HP software. Do you happen to have Officejet All-in-one installed? If yes, then reinstall it.

If you do not, then it is malware.
