First of all you will need VLC Player. You can get it here
1. Go Tools>Preferences>Video
2. On the last row titles "Video Snapshot", Browse for the directory and choose whatever options your want.
3. Save
4. While playing a video go to "Video" under the menu bar and click on "snapshot"
And you're done.
