System Security malware problem - Part 1

On 2-15-09, the "System Security" malware program took residence with my computer. I'm pretty sure it happened while I was attempting to watch a video about repairing a GMC Suburban headlight. Immediately thereafter all hell broke loose. Since then I have been searching for ways to get rid of this virus which I later learned was a malware. After my computer was infected I have downloaded Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and SpyHunter3. Luckily, I found your website and have followed your instructions to get me to this point. I pasted the results in the reply section, however, I clicked post reply instead of "Send". Now the results of the OTMoveIt is gone. I attempted to repaste the results, but I had already copy and pasted different text.

It's okay, the log is automatically saved by OTMoveIt.

Open the log file with notepad and you will see the log.

Please help with step by step instructions, I was unable to just click on the log file. I also tried to use notepad, but I don't exactly work

Press Start > Run, type in Notepad and press enter.
This will open notepad.

In Notepad, go to File > Open.
At the top where it says "Look in:"
Manually navigate to C:\_OTMoveIt\

The log will be named with numbers, but it stands for the time and date it was run.
Double click the .log file and it should open.
Copy and paste it back here.

C:\_OTMoveIt\ is not there

Strange.
Try running it again with the script you used, see if you can get the report this time.

Restore is to restore stuff incase a mistake was made, but we don't need that.

Please run DDS again and we'll see if that file and folder OTMoveIt was supposed to move out is still there or not.

I have not closed OTMoveIt3 from your last instruction, as I do not see a close button to click on. Instead I have:

Move It!, Clean Up!, Exit, Restore and the red colored "X" top right button. So before I :

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

• Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  
• Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  
• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.

4. Click Yes when you receive the prompt to the turn off System Restore.

Now we need to make a new restore point.

Below I have included a number of recommendations for how to protect your computer in order to prevent future malware infections. Please take these recommendations seriously; these few simple steps can stave off the vast majority of spyware problems. 1) Please navigate to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and download all the "critical updates" for Windows. This can patch many of the security holes through which attackers can gain access to your computer.
