SP3.
SP3 has all the updates SP2 has built in so it doesn't take you ages to install the updates and you'll be more secure.

I agree. SP3 has quite a few security enhancements that you will find in Vista.

Technically - There is a (very) small chance that your OS will be corrupted when upgrading the service pack.

I installed SP3 on my laptop last week, took me 40mins and like 2 reboots. No way!
