Computer lagging in general.

2 nights ago I noticed severe intermittent lag on my keyboard inputs. I'd type a sentence and watch the letters tick in, then boom the rest of the sentence. It's still doing it now and now I notice it when watching video files and such. I've searched for malware myself but cant seem to find anything. So please find below my hijackthis log file.

You are running two AV's, this is a bad idea as they can conflict and cause problems. I see Avast and AVG.
I would recommend that you remove AVG to avoid conflict and other future problems.

Go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and remove the following programs if present.

I installed avast after the problem occurred to see if it would pick anything up. only got that running now.

I've always used zonealarm, and it's never caused problems before... I've tested my laptop disconnected from the internet with it turned off and still the problem persists.

I have also cleaned out the temp files (almost 400Mb worth) and still no improvement.

When I run it with other softwares it could take about 5 minutes for my computer to start up, try to unistall Zonealarm and see how the problem goes, also download and run this tool to make sure there are no leftovers:

AVG Remover

Well the main thing is that this problem has suddenly appeared, with no new installs from me.

I'll give it a go however.
