I got this virus on my computer. now when I try to open the browser or try to log into my MSN browser I cannot. the window just goes away. I am not able to dowload any of the programs on line. this virus has just rendered my internet unusable. what can I do

• First, download it to your desktop.
  
• Now double click it to run it and will tell it you what to do when you open it.
  
• It will temporarily kill explorer.exe and your desktop will go blank.
  
• Let Flash_Disinfector do it's job and it will restart explorer.exe for you.
  
• It will make a dummy autorun.inf in the root of every drive.
  
• You can now delete Flash_Disinfector.exe.

A Hijack This log would be a good start.
These are in instructions for the installer, and getting the log file.

Please download the current version of HijackThis from HERE

• Double click and run the installer.
  
• It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
  
• After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.
  
• Select Do a system scan and save a log file. This will open a notepad file of everything Hijack This found, copy and paste it back here.
