The fire effects are too exaggerated. Perhaps you should try leaving some parts of the picture behind.

Maybe you can tell me what is the purpose of the effects so that I can rate accordingly?

The fire looks too plastic.
As for the water, I think it doesn't look like one. If you were to look a water, it's got a convex shape. It will also have a very light and soft shadow around it. And if you want to go a little further, water has this thing called Fresnel effect and refraction. Fresnel effect is sort of the reflection and opacity around the rounded area of the water. As for refraction, you should know.
