How to Open Multiple Instances of Registry Editor in Windows
If you try opening more than one instance of the registry editor by using ‘regedit’ more than once, you will find that nothing happens it will open only one instance of the registry editor. If for some reason you need to have multiple instances of the Registry Editor open in Windows, thanks to Microsoft we can open multiple instances of the registry editor.
Open Multiple Instances of Registry Editor
To open additional instances of registry editor, simply use the -m or /m switch.
That is, open the Run dialog box, copy-paste regedit -m or regedit /m in it and click OK button. Do it twice and you will see two instances of the Registry Editor window open.
