How to Change Taskbar Program Preview Icons Size in Windows 7, 8 and 10
When you hover your mouse over an icon for a running app on the Taskbar, the thumbnail image that appears can be resized to any pixel size you specify.
1. Type Regedit.exe into Start Menu to launch Registry Editor and navigate to the following registry key:
2. Create a DWORD value named MinThumbSizePx
3. Double-click MinThumbSizePx and set its value data accordingly. I set it to 350 (Decimal) for this example (e.g. 200 for large thumbnails or 400 for very large ones).
4. Exit the Registry Editor.
5. Logoff and log back in.
You can see it from below image that the taskbar thumbnails has grown bigger in size.
