"setup cannot continue because an unexpected error occurred"

Hi All

I have a new Microsoft Mouse - Sculpt Mobile and I downloaded the mouse and keyboard center and when i install it it stops and says "setup cannot continue because an unexpected error occurred".
I am using Windows 7

Any help would be very much appreciated

I believe that mouse can only operate on Windows 8
