For the last couple of weeks, when I try to go to Paypal's website, it tries to redirect me to an Ebay page that comes up and says "does not exist". I have tried to use 'buy it now' on an auction, and when I clicked the "pay now" button it came up saying that it was trying to redirect to an page other than what I was requesting and gave me an option 'return to safety'. Other times, the paypal page will load properly, and the buy it now works right on ebay, so I don't know what is going on. I've run multiple scans and nothing was found. Please help!

Hello and welcome to GeekPolice.Net My name is Dave. I will be helping you out with your particular problem on your computer.

1. I will be working on your Malware issues. This may or may not solve other issues you have with your machine.
2. The fixes are specific to your problem and should only be used for this issue on this machine.
3. If you don't know or understand something, please don't hesitate to ask.
4. Please DO NOT run any other tools or scans while I am helping you.
5. It is important that you reply to this thread. Do not start a new topic.
6. Your security programs may give warnings for some of the tools I will ask you to use. Be assured, any links I give are safe.
7. Absence of symptoms does not mean that everything is clear.

If you can't access the internet with your infected computer you will have to download and transfer any programs to the computer you're using now and transfer them to the infected computer with a CD-RW or a USB storage device. I prefer a CD because a storage device can get infected. If you use a storage device hold the shift key down while inserting the USB storage device for about 10 secs. You will also have to transfer the logs you receive back to the good computer using the same method until we can get the computer back on-line.

Ok, here are the logs from the scans - I had to attach them as it wouldn't let me copy/paste them here. Malware bites did not find anything.

I have Win7 with all the upgrades/patches installed

Downloading and running the scan now.   Just tried to pay my auction fees on ebay, got this message:

This is probably not the site you are looking for!
You attempted to reach xxxx paypal.com, but instead you actually reached a server identifying itself as *.btrll.com. This may be caused by a misconfiguration on the server or by something more serious. An attacker on your network could be trying to get you to visit a fake (and potentially harmful) version of xxx paypal.com.
You should not proceed, especially if you have never seen this warning before for this site.
