How to top up Skype account?

I'm making my year abroad and I want to stay in touch with my family and save a little money on the cell phone bills. Skype is cool and cheap but I'm not sure I can use a prepaid card to buy credits. I have no credit card yet.
What I get here almost everywhere is Paysafecard but I've never tried it with Skype. Will it work?

Sure, why not - it's even on their webpage ;)
Just choose "other options" while paying and then there is paysafecard.
