consumer IR devices

My consumer IR devices are not working properly. It's telling me "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)". I don't have a clue what this means. Can you help me?

A drive is a special little program that allows the Windows Operating System to communicate with a specific piece of hardware. Most devices come with a CD that you install. This CD has the driver and the tool to install it.

If you don't have the driver disk, you can try going to the manufacturer's web site and see if they have one to download.
