"Personal Shield Pro" virus help needed

Hello to all,

I was tire shopping and got redirected to site that infected me with "Personal Shield Pro" garbage. I can't start Malwarebytes or any of my other malware removal programs. My desktop has lost it's wallpaper, and i tried starting Malwarebytes in safe mode but i get a "register" or "purchase" box that i don't get in normal mode.
I ran my Avast AV scanner and it found nothing.
I'm running Win XP Pro SP3
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
