I normally use FF and have as many as 30 tabs going at once. I use Safari as a backup in case FF is giving me trouble. However, on this machine, I have never been able to get Safari to handle more than 9, maybe 10 tabs open at one time. If I have more, it crashes the whole machine. I am running the latest version of Safari as far as I know.

What should I do?

P.S. I apologize to the Mods for reposting this. I had to repost it in my own profile. I posted it while logged into my girlfriend's account by accident. Please don't delete this one! I beg you!

I wonder if you're running out of RAM.

Open the Activity Monitor. In the System Memory tab, watch how Free Memory changes as you open more tabs.

Highly possible. I've seen my computer freeze, crash then restart with no BSOD after running a debugger with only 256MB ram.
