Hello, I need to get rid of an old PC but first I would like to know how to permanently delete whatever data is currently on it; the PC is that old it runs ME Millennium.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, Gixxer

I prefer to remove the hard drive, take it apart and wack it with a sledge hammer. If however, you prefer to do it with software, this may work. It's called Eraser and it's free. This older version says it'll work with Windows ME.

Physical destruction is always best. Kill Disk free will erase everything. It uses DOS so it'll run on pretty much any computer. You'll need to burn it to a cd or use a floppy or flash drive.
