That didn't work. Was wondering if perhaps this was a virus?? About 2 weeks ago we got the Thinkpoint virus on the computer. We ran Malwarebytes and thought our problem was solved. Then a week later we were getting a strange video that would run whenever the computer sat idle for a few minutes. We deleted a file called hotfix.exe and thought it was fixed. Now we are having this problem. When we go to the GeekPolice website from the infected computer we are not able to run OTL. We are getting consistent errors stating there are problems with the internet sites or that the web page can not be displayed. Do you think this is still the Thinkpoint virus??

It is malware. But, can you enter Windows now ?

Please read this topic and open new one at Virus, Spyware & Malware Removal forum.

If you are unable to download OTL, use some other computer for that and transfer OTL via USB flash drive to your computer.
