I had Malwarebytes already installed on my computer from a previous encounter with a virus from last year. When Thinkpoint came on, I went into safemode with networking, updated the Malewarebytes and ran BOTH the fast and full scans. It detected 4 files total, which I have removed. I have done this twice.
ThinkPoint STILL shows up in its full glory on the regular mode.

SIGH. What more can I do? Should I?

1. Download a completely new version of Malwarebytes from online?
2. Download SpywareDoctor? or something different?
3. Or do I need to do a manual removal? (please no... Sad tearing )

thanks in advance... this little bugger is a sure pain in the butt.

Hello.

Download OTL by OldTimer to your Desktop.

  • Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  • Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  • It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  • You may need to use two posts to get it all.
