I cant log into facebook at all because I keep getting a message saying waiting for static.ak.fbcdn.net.
I have no other problems other than fb.

Hi, yeah i have similar problem.

Try to use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. They have integrated option to skip long lines if they couldn't read it. IE and Firefox in some cases give you a message, something like "Webpage takes too long to open, skip or cancel", but it's just for some big problems.

I suggest you to try Firefox anyway, it's problem with Facebook, not you, so don't worry, not the only one ;)

it says i dont have permission to save the file? im an admin on this system??

Are you an admin ? If you don't have permission try to use Safe Mode for this. But you should be the admin of your system.
