GeForce 9300M GS or RADEON HD 4850?

So. My laptop came installed with the GeForce 9300M GS, but one day, as I was trying out Final Fantasy XI, I noticed... EVERYTHING LOOKED TERRIBLE. So, I discovered that we had an unused RADEON HD 4850 sitting around in the basement. Well, should I make the change? Will it cause anything to run slower? Will the visuals actually go faster and smoother, or is it a computer thing? AND! Can I switch in between the two graphic cards interchangeably?

No, you can not change integrated graphic card. Can you give me name of laptop ? If laptop maybe have a slot for 2nd graphic card, he could install it.
