window xp reboot loop HELP

Few days ago computer very slow, so turned off, and when turned back on keeps looping in reboot...black screen with options to open in safe mode, last known good config etc...none of those work. Have read that I should use my reinstall CD (my computer did have XP PRO, someone loaded when my computer was used for business, but now personal) so last OS was XPPRO, but I have the reinstall CD for XP HOME ...saw I should load that but hit R for recovery Console.
So now I get to The recovery console provides system repair and recovery functionality. Type EXIT to quit and restart the computer.

HELP what do I do now (it did start a setup on blue screen)
