ad ware slowing pc down & keeps popping up

Hi trying to clean my neighbours pc (windows 7) as surfing is slow due to adware that i am finding difficult to remove. So far i have scanned with S&D & cleaned the spyware that was found. Then i scanned with trend house call nothing found & malware bytes also nothing found. tried to create a log with hijack this. Although it scanned the log stays blank on note pad. any advice greatly appreciated!

thought i might ad (no pun intended!) that the pop ups that are hijacking home page are 888.com & betfair ad seraching

Download OTL by OldTimer to your Desktop.

• Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  
• Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  
• It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

• Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  
• Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  
• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  
• Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  
• When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. (See Note)
  
• The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  

Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts.
Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process.
If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

Whilst i was awaiting further instructions i sifted through other postings & noticed Eset online scanner. so i did a full scan & 10 items were cleaned.upon reboot no pop ups!!! (S&D, trend housecall & malware bytes didn't detect any thing yesterday) so hopefully problem might be rectified just need to clean up any remnants (if any!) from malware.

Still having problems? the OTL log looks good, can you post the ESET online scanner log.
