First, could you tell me if the network connection icon down by the clock has a yellow triangle on the lower right side of that icon? It should look like triangle with a black exclamation point in it.
If you do not have a network connection icon by the clock, you can find the network icon by completing the following steps:
* Go to Start > Control Panel > Network Connections
* Look for the Icon that is labeled Local Area Connection (there may or may not be a number by the Local Area Connection Label).
Please let me know if that yellow triangle icon is there by the Local Area Connection in your next post. This information will allow me to see what steps will need to take place next in order to restore network connectivity.
