Got hit by Antivirus Soft and Radio toolbar, cant get internet, HELP!

My son was using my Acer One Aspire laptop with XP and the laptop got hit with Antivirus Soft and possibly radio toolbar and I since deleted an tssd.exe file something to do with wmam or something like that and I've tried calling Microsoft, and got nowhere, and I've tried downloading Spydoctor, malwarebytes, and even Stopzilla and none of these programs would open so I believe the malware is still there. I wish I knew what more i could do. Could anyone help me without the gobblygook as I'm limited in computer knowledge.
