THANK YOU FOR ANY ASSISTANCE AND CONSIDERATION!
About 4 days ago, after Windows logon, I had2 warnings pop up regarding my "system tray." However, more importantly, I received a notification that my Windows Security was not activated in addition to the 2 other warnings. I was prompted to click on the red shield icon to open a pop-up and "turn on" my Windows Security, but upon doing so, another pop-up stated that I was unable to activate this. Since then, I have tried a slew of methods and suggestions to eradicate this thing.
I was able to solve the "system tray" issue in that these 2 initial warnings no longer appear upon logon. Unfortunately, I am still unable to activate Windows Security, despite non-stop scanning, locating, placing in quarantine and/or deleting the infected files (using Malwarebytes, AVG, Dr. Web and CCleaner)! If I am not mistaken, I recall one of the specific files as something like: C:/Windows/System32/drivers/jxtlbba.sys
I have tried simply deleting this file myself, but am unable to do so. Thus, I realized it was time to stop and seek another route and fortunately, I came upon Geek Police!
The following is my complete "HijackThis" file:
