Not sure this is the right place to ask but i'm trying to install Kaspersky anti virus on my sisters laptop and can't seem to uninstall the version of Norton that came pre-installed over a year ago.
I've uninstalled successfully from the programme list but during installation of Kaspersky it still states that Norton must be uninstalled.
I've downloaded the Norton removal tool from various locations but i cannot get any of them to run. The cursor starts to show activity, stops then nothing ! If i then try it again i get a warning saying that there's a copy of this software running and i need to stop this first - although clearly nothing is running !
Any help would be appreciated as i've now run out of ideas.
