Excel 2003

Hey guys. I have an old laptop that I have been using for years and I use excel on it every week. I was trying to "clean" out my computer as best as I could to save up some space. I guess I messed something up with my excel because it doesn't work properly and is now asking me to install my disk!! Which I have no idea where that is.

i'm not sure if u can do anything with out the cd. have u ever looked in to openoffic, it similar to microsoft office but free. its version of excel is called calc

it didn't say anything.

BUT, i went to microsoft.com and downloaded any updates to Excel and I guess it replinished what i need! So I got really lucky.
