Vista Anti-Virus Pro

Hi,
Seem to have the same Anti-Virus Pro problem that many others on this site have encountered but unfortunately after completing the Malwarebytes scan nothing has changed. I followed the step by step instructions to the letter and everything seem to go well but on re-booting the virus is still there.

Please re-open Malwarebytes, click the Update tab, and click Check for Updates. Then, click the Scanner tab, select Perform Quick Scan, and press Scan.

Update downloaded fine but when i click "ok" to install nothing happens. Have tried it 3 times so far and still nothing.

Okay, uninstall MBAM, then re-download the 1.44 installer from Here and install that version.
