i am at my wits end ! in sept/oct my p.c. was infected with antivirus system pro . after grateful help from members of this board i was able to fix my p.c.. However i lost all my files and my hard drive was still full. My question is my old hard drive has a folder named USER DATA FILES which is 178 gb in size but i cant access it. It says access denied. My new hard drive is fine. I Have my old internal hard drive connected with a usb adaptor cable i got from amazon. I can access every folder on my old drive but the one i need (MurphysLaw) i just tried the boot in safe mode with boot from old drive. Unfortunately this is not working on reboot. Is there any suggestions to help me get my files back?? any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanking you in advance for your time and consideration. Chris
